The home of Pure Country Dalmatians lies in the serene countryside
of Austin, Texas. It is home to CH Topspot Karefree Glowing Ember,
CGC "Ebony" and Tongwoods Pure Cntry Royl Starr "Annie" along with
one other companion dog Knotty. In addition, two of Ebony and
Annie's offspring Marina, and Cowboy have also made their home here.
Dalmatians became a part of my life in 1981 when Mandi was acquired
as a companion. She stoked a love for this breed that is still
growing. In 1993 the kennel name Firecreek was changed to Pure
Country Dalmatians. The first Pure Country
litter was born on September 28, 2002. I was blessed with 10
beautiful puppies, all of which are bilateral. Look for some of
these puppies in the show ring soon.
I am involved in conformation and obedience. In the future I am
planning on participating in tracking, agility and the road trial.
I am dedicated to the breed by providing: education to the public,
training, breeding wisely, helping with behavior problems and with
rescue. I offer handling, and obedience classes as well CGC testing.
I have my AKC CGC (Canine Good Citizen) evaluator credentials.
